The Honourable Chief Minister of Goa, Shri Digambar Kamat, visited HMRI on the 17th of August, 2010 with a delegation from the Government of Goa. The visit was organized in coordination with Department of Information Technology; Government of India and National Institute for Smart Government, who arranged an eGovernance Leadership Meet for the Political & Policy Level Officials of the Government of Goa.
Since HMRI addresses an important primary sector that has tremendous impact on citizens in need, it is thought that the governments of other states can effectively take-up the concept and understanding about HMRI, which may further encourage replication of such health initiatives in their own states.
Among the delegation were the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Ministers, MLAs, Principal Secretaries and Secretaries of Government of Goa, who visited HMRI in order to understand its successful initiatives such as 104 Advice, 104 Mobile, Telemedicine and other ICT health initiatives.
