How can I help HMRI in its mission of delivering health care to the last mile?
HMRI is building a sustainable, flexible and effective healthcare system, for which a modest contribution will be immensely helpful. Cheques or demand drafts in favour of HMRI can be sent to our postal address. Online donations are accepted here.
I would like to donate to help my village. Can I do this?
HMRI aims to build a world where health care can be accessed by anyone, anywhere. If you would like to help your village, please visit our Donate to Your Village page. You can choose your village from the drop down list displayed, and the amount you wish to donate. If your village is not listed, please email us [admin@hmriglobal.org] and we shall let you know how you can help us.
Is my donation tax exempt?
HMRI is a registered not for profit society under the Andhra Pradesh Societies Registration Act 2001. All donations to HMRI are exempt from income tax under section 80G(5)(vi) of the I.T Act, 1961.
How safe is the transaction?
All online donations are processed through our IDBI payment gateway. Your financial information is protected by industry-leading security and fraud prevention systems, and will not be shared with HMRI.
Where does the money go?
The public-private partnership with the Government of Andhra Pradesh allows HMRI to leverage massive benefits from each dollar raised. The government matches HMRI funds at 19:1, so that contributions of up to $5 million produce a total budget of $100 million.
A majority of the funds directly go to the provision of healthcare (93%) and acquisition of necessary infrastructure (4%), with the balance going to cover overhead and management costs (3%).
I would prefer my contribution to be more personal. Can I volunteer my services to your organization?
We understand that not everyone prefers to make a monetary contribution. HMRI welcomes your volunteer services in your areas of expertise. Please get in touch with us through our Contact Us page.
Is it possible for me to know when the 104 Mobile van would be visiting the service point in my village/closest to my village?
