Vision
To transform healthcare delivery system into a vibrant digital platform that is easily accessible by leveraging Information and Communication technologies (ICT).
Use ICT tools to achieve United Nations Millennium Development goals.
To shape Andhra Pradesh as the first State in the country to achieve the UN Millennium Development goals – more so, the goals aimed at reduction of maternal and child mortality rate – in three years time.
To enhance access to health services through IT-enabled support to policy makers, healthcare providers and teaching and training institutions for achieving the goals.
Mission
To address the health needs of marginalised sections of society as Andhra Pradesh needs alternative healthcare solutions that can provide health advice and support at a bare minimum cost.
To stretch the reach of healthcare services to rural and remote areas.
To reduce the cost of access to healthcare services (wage loss, travel costs, etc.).
To provide access to regular preventive health checks and health education.
To reach out to the 80 million population of Andhra Pradesh and scale up the target to 1 billion.
